The Hispanic Center of Excellence, in collaboration with the Latin American Recruitment and Educational Services at the University of Illinois at Chicago, has offered a six-week summer academic enrichment program since the summer of 2009. The purpose of this workshop is to detail the development and evaluation of the Latino Health Science Enrichment Program (LaHSEP), specifically the changes in attitudes, motivation, and skills related to college and health science career interests of high school students.
